The Korean social phenomenon "Misaeng" will be made into a musical for the first time
The world premiere will be held at the Shin Kabukiza Theater in Osaka in January 2025!!
The Korean webcomic "Misaeng" was a huge hit with a total of 3 million copies sold, and the drama swept all the Korean drama awards that year, causing a social phenomenon known as the "Misaeng Syndrome." Horipro and Korean creators have made an original musical out of "Misaeng."

"Misaeng" is a story set in a company, but it depicts a microcosm of society as a whole through events within the company. The meaning of work, the complexities of human relationships, bonds with colleagues, and individual growth and conflicts are realistically depicted, and the characters make life choices while facing various social challenges. The story unfolding in the corporate society will resonate with the audience and make them think deeply about working and living.
