■Two experts who are attracting attention from around the world will talk about the future of "Namba."

・Kengo Kuma (architect)
A world-renowned architect who has worked on many famous buildings, including the National Stadium and Hotel Royal Classic Osaka.

・Koichi Uemura (project manager)
A professional in the fields of architecture and infrastructure who has led many architectural projects to success and is also involved in the privatization of toll roads overseas and smart city projects.

■What is “NANBA MASHUP”?
The area around Namba is a place that can be called the “soul” of Osaka, where the traditions and culture of the good old days of Osaka remain. From entertainment companies such as Yoshimoto Kogyo and Shochiku Geino, to soul food such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and kushikatsu, to apparel, anime, games, figures, and other content, it has a unique atmosphere where entertainment, subculture, otaku, and youth culture are mixed together.

While “Tokyoization” is progressing all over the country, Namba may be said to be the last “chaos” left in Japan. In order to further enhance the appeal of Namba, we would like to invite creators and artists who are active at the forefront of the world and explore the potential of Namba together with local people and companies.
