ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Toshiro Suzue, a genius who has received numerous theater awards including the Kishida Kunio Drama Award, wrote a new play for Uzume Theater in response to the desire of German director Peter Gessner. The setting is one day at the German Embassy, where a Japanese man arrives saying he wants to defect to Germany. What is his reason for doing so...?! Intense theatrical text, philosophical debate, and an appeal to his beloved motherland, Japan. Uzume Theater embodies this play, written on a theme that burns deep in the soul, in a comedy of all his heart!
