DAIHATSU Shinsaibashi Kadoza

The name "Kadoza" dates back to the Edo period, when it was called "Kadoza Theater".

Kadoza, along with Naniwaza, Nakaza, Asahiza, and Bentenza, were once known as the "Five Yagura" or "Dotonbori Five Theaters", and flourished as a hall of fame for Kamigata performing arts in the 1960s and 1970s.

The name "Kadoza" was later passed on to a movie theater directly operated by Shochiku Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Osaka) and our directly operated theater "B1 Kadoza" (Chuo-ku, Osaka), but it disappeared with the closure of the Kadoza Building (Chuo-ku, Osaka) in 2008.

We would like to revive this venerable name in Tokyo and Osaka, the centers of Japanese entertainment, and start a new history.

We believe that this theater will continue to produce Japan's leading entertainment inners, contributing to the development of culture.
