Namba Grand Kagetsu

About Namba Grand Kagetsu, the Hall of Fame of Comedy
Yoshimoto Kogyo started out in 1912 by operating a comedy hall.
The Namba Grand Kagetsu, which inherited that legacy and was opened in November 1987, continues to bring laughter to the world as a base for Yoshimoto Kogyo's proud comedy culture.
With 858 seats, it is the largest comedy theater in Japan, and the retro-style interior creates a "good old Japan" atmosphere, making it popular not only with Japanese people but also with people from overseas.
In 2016, the number of annual visitors exceeded 1 million, making it a true "hall of comedy" where people of all ages and genders can enjoy the best comedy.
