10/24 Series 3: "Rediscovering the Charm of Japan"
~Osaka Seven Tombs Pilgrimage and Dotonbori~
Speaker: #Mutsu Ken (Tourist/Commons Designer)
Show Start: 6:30 PM
Reservations and Inquiries: https://ws.formzu.net/fgen/S774818009/
We at Hanafukuza are honored to welcome Mutsu Ken, a man we believe knows the city of Osaka inside and out.
This time, he will talk about the streets of Osaka Minami and the Edo-period custom of the townspeople, known as the "Seven Tombs Pilgrimage." Apparently, back then, townspeople would freely and playfully tour the Seven Tombs. It was also popular as a date spot for young couples.
What's that? Sounds interesting!
This performance is recommended for history buffs, those who want to know more about the city of Osaka, and those who have heard of the "Pilgrimage to the Seven Tombs" and wondered what that was all about.
Please come and see it.
*Mutsu-san actually gives tours of the "Seven Tombs" every year during the Obon period, but this time he will only be talking.
There will be no tour.
