ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This event is a key initiative to rediscover and revitalize the history of the Dotonbori theater district.
It features a performance of Joruri (puppet theater), a form of traditional Japanese narrative music similar to Kabuki and Bunraku, held once a month with free admission. The venue, Namikiza, is easily accessible from the street and features a recreation of an Edo-period theater, making it wheelchair-friendly.
The performance begins with an easy-to-understand and engaging explanation, followed by a musical performance by Matsuya Nozawa, a leading figure in Kabuki.
