Synopsis
The year is 1758 (the 8th year of the Horeki era). Playwright Shozo Namiki is eager to propose a large-scale stage set for his next work.
The proposed set is an unprecedented piece: a large tray placed on the stage, rotated by a group of strong men from below.
At the time, there was no director, so he had no choice but to convey his concept to the troupe leader, the props department, and the theater. But could it really be realized?
This one-act comedy depicts the outrageous character of Shozo Namiki, who created the revolving stage, now used worldwide, through his kabuki direction!
